Attention all 7th grade students who are interested in auditioning for 8th grade jazz band for the 2020-21 school year: You should have received an invite in your email to the Jazz Band Audition google classroom on 5/15/20. Please accept this invite to join the google classroom, and read the instructions for how to record/submit a video for your auditions. If you think you should have received the invite, but you did not, email Ms. Stout at stoutl@aaps.k12.mi.us.
Important things to know about Jazz Band auditions:
Students: If you do not make jazz band after going through the audition process, you will have the opportunity, if you so choose, to re-audition live when we return to school next year. However, if you do not submit an audition, you will not have the opportunity to make up the audition. If you are unable to submit an audition video for any reason, please contact Ms. Stout ASAP for your options at stoutl@aaps.k12.mi.us.
AUDITION VIDEOS FOR JAZZ BAND ARE DUE FRIDAY MAY 29TH AT 3:00PM. At that time, anyone who has NOT submitted a video OR has not contacted Ms. Stout for options will not be considered for 8th grade jazz band.
