Dear Tappan music families,
Please read below for an important message from the district regarding in-person middle school performances.
We are excited to be instructing students in person again and look forward to student performances as well. Currently, the district guidelines for middle school student performances state students will be performing in person but there will be no in person audiences. The performances will be either live streamed or recorded and put on a platform for all those who want to view the performance. More details to follow. This is subject to change throughout the year based on AAPS COVID guidelines.
Tappan is in the process of planning a recording event for our December concerts. The recording sessions will take place during the school day and the event will be shown after school as a presentation for families online and will also be uploaded for those unable to attend.
We look forward to you hearing your students progress this year! More detailed information to follow from your student’s director.
