This Tuesday May 24th at 6:30pm is the AAPS Jazz Summit at Huron High School.
Where: Huron High School Auditorium
When: 8th grade jazz band students should arrive at 6:10pm and report to the Huron Choir room for unpacking/brief warm up. The concert will begin at 6:30. Tappan performs second.
What to wear: Student performers should wear Tappan jazz shirts and black bottoms
What to bring: Anything you need to perform (instrument, music, reeds, etc)
COVID guidelines: Everyonemust be masked at all times in doors. Student performers need playing masks/bell covers for woodwinds and brass.
After Tappan has finished performing, students may go into the audience and sit with their families for the duration of the performance and to watch the high school bands play. If you have any questions, please let me know.
